2017 UFO Challenge

Loose Threads Quilt Guild is participating in the American Patchwork and Quilting UFO Challenge.  To participate, identify 11 UFO’s (unfinished objects) that you’d like to make progress on during 2017 and list where you are on the project right now.  Each month, we will draw a number and you should work on that UFO during the month – listing your progress over the month and showing what you’ve accomplished at the next guild meeting.  The goal is to make progress each month on your UFO’s, even if you don’t finish the project.

Before the January meeting, complete your list of unfinished objects (UFO’s) using the form at http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/sites/allpeoplequilt.com/files/uploads/ufo_challenge_2017.pdf.

  • Identify 11 UFO’s that you would like to make progress on during 2017
  • List where you are on the project right now (e.g. needs binding, blocks are partially finished, fabric is cut out, etc.)
  • Bring your completed form to the January meeting to share with the group

January UFO Challenge is #6.  So you can choose what you want to work on for the February meeting!  Don’t forget to note where you are on the project before you start working.  Bring your #6 to the guild meeting in February so we can brag on your progress.

If you’d like to join not only our guild challenge but also the APQ global network, you may choose to join the APQ 2017 UFO Challenge Facebook group at www.facebook.com/apqmagazine.  See www.allpeoplequilt.com/resolution for complete details.
